Silence · Obedience · Joy · Realisation

The Way That Found Me
The Way That Found Me is a personal and philosophical account of an eight-hundred-kilometre pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela.
The journey begins as an attempt to leave shame behind and find stillness after several years of work on a doctoral dissertation, but it gradually becomes something quite different from what was planned.
Through pain, solitude, encounters with strangers, and the simple rhythm of walking, eating, and sleeping, the book explores what it means to listen to the body, let go of control, and remain open to what happens.
With Kierkegaard’s words silence, obedience, and joy forming an underlying movement, and realisation emerging as a fourth word only later, the book ultimately asks how a path can continue to work within a person long after the walking itself has ended.
