Dissertation on shame: References

References

Here is a list of books and articles I have read and used in my dissertation on shame within the contest of child sexual abuse. A list like this is of great value for a person seeking possible references in ones own work, but a pretty dreadful reading for those not interested in the topic at all. So this list are for those with a special interest in the subject of shame. Writing a PhD dissertation is a journey, which was for me a pilgrimage over several years, where I as a researcher had to walk alone. But there were moments when I felt a warm wind against my forehead and understood that I was standing on the shoulders of hundreds of researcher before me. Thankyou every single one, especially my two mentors and supervisors: Professor Edgar Marthinsen and Professor John Lundstøl.
